At RR-Racing, we build performance parts, not show car parts, but every now and then, we develop a product that both looks good and serves a function. Recently, we developed an oil cooler kit for the 2GR-FSE engine in the Lexus IS350. The best place to locate the oil cooler was directly behind the Lexus front grill badge. In order to facilitate airflow to the oil cooler, we designed hollow badges, available in both "L" (only in carbon) and "F" configurations.
Each badge is CNC cut from billet 6061-T6 aluminum plate. We then use a powder coat base coat and secondary clear coat for added durability. Standard color is silver, but we also do custom powder coated colors (see product photo for color samples) on request, for an additional cost.
Please note that the chrome F badge does not look exactly as the sample because of the geometry of the badge (the badge on the car photo is chrome). The silver color is not as reflective as chrome and more dull.
