Our big brake upgrade kit allows ISF owners to upgrade to the RCF Brembo brake calipers as well as our lightweight RCF 2-piece Competition Rotors. The advantage of this upgrade is three-fold. First, the added rotor area (15" rotor vs. 14" rotor) results in greater thermal capacity. Secondly, the RCF calipers are larger, allowing the use of a brake pad that is approximately 30% larger. The added thermal capacity of the rotors combined with the larger brake pads results in significantly improved pad and rotor life under extreme conditions, such as racetrack use. Also, we find that for track use, due to that added brake torque and thermal capacity, a less aggressive pad compound can be used, further improving rotor and pad wear.

Our Front brake kit includes our RCF race rotors made by Girodisc (same rotors that are used on many Porsche race cars), CNC milled 6061 aluminum spacer brackets, and 4 longer metric bolts.

Please note that we also offer our Wilwood Forged Superlight 4 piston caliper upgrade for the rear (offered as an suggested add-on product below). Compared to 2 piston ISF calipers or 4 piston OEM RCF calipers, the Wilwood upgrade features larger and more economically priced pads, additional rear brake bias to balance out the larger front rotors, and fully forged construction versus cast aluminum construction of the ISF/RCF calipers. In addition, you can chose our rear racing Girodisc rotors as well (offered as an option with the rear BBK).
