This is a new version with a softer 85dur bushing designed for the Street. Please note that the original version (with the red bushings) provides the best performance overall. This version is recommended for AWD vehicles per fitment table below.

We are excited to have designed and manufactured the new RR Racing Ultimate Steering Response System (USRS). USRS is an upgraded lower control arm (LCA) bushing and housing. It is not often that a product offers so much for such a reasonable price and easy installation!

Ever read magazine articles comparing Lexus and BMW's, filled with complaints about Lexus's lack of steering "feel?" Our goal with the Lexus LCA upgrade was to significantly improve steering feel and turn-in response. One of the problems with the Lexus front suspension is the soft rear control arm bushing. Not only does this bushing deflect laterally under load, but it also deflects fore/aft under braking, leading to imprecise and sometimes "wandering" steering feel caused by movement of the effective contact patch of the tire. All current aftermarket offerings address the lateral deflection, but do little to eliminate the fore/aft deflection that leads to dynamic toe changes under braking and cornering.

By eliminating excessive movement of the soft stock lower control arm bushing, we dramatically improved steering response and feel during hard cornering, without the excessive vibration and harshness associated with race-only hard spherical bearings. As illustrated in our image gallery, the OEM suspension control arms, under braking and cornering, actually move with respect to the chassis. This results in increased understeer, non-linear steering response, and reduced stability under hard braking conditions, and in many cases excessive inner tire wear, a well known problem on many Lexus models. We have designed our USRS to significantly reduce all dynamic toe changes and lateral deflections!

Please watch the video below for a detailed overview of USRS and on-car comparison between USRS and the Lexus OEM bushing.

Summary of Features:

  • Our bushing virtually eliminates unwanted suspension movement, that lead to changes in toe, caster, and camber while turning and braking.
  • Our redesigned housing increases static caster by 0.3-0.5 degrees. Increased caster improves steering feel and camber gain when cornering.
  • Comes as a complete and assembled bushing & housing assembly - no costly labor and hassle in pressing out old OEM bushings.
  • Redesigned 6061-T6 lower control arm housing designed to be stronger than OEM to withstand increased thrust loads.
  • Extremely tough 88 durometer polyurethane bushing -- backed by our lifetime guarantee!
  • Polyurethane bushing features fully fluted design on shaft and thrust side for enhanced lubrication. Also features end seal to keep dirt out.

IS350 AWD Fsport
Well worth the upgrade. I should have gotten these sooner instead of waiting 10 yrs into the ownership of this vehicle. Steering is snappier and way more responsive on cornering. I got the street ones for the awd and love the way the car responds. No nose dive on braking either. Little more NVH into the cabin over harsh bumps but its very livable. I would highly recommend getting these sooner rath

RR Racing Street Version Ultimate Steering Respons
My Lexus GS350 AWD had almost 189K miles. Stock front lower A-arm bushings (rears) were getting old, so I bought and installed these. The steering is now sharper/ more crisp. Under acceleration, it feels more sure footed. On heavy braking, it definitely feels more stable. I'm sure that the tire wear will be more even. The suspension is more firm, but not too firm. Just right! Installation wasn't t

Great product / Customer service not as good
Product was great and an easy install. I was charged for priority 3 day shipping but was giving ground shipping and not refunded the difference. I left a message and no call back.

Great steering response
I installed these 3 months ago to eliminate the excessive front tire wear on my 2014 Lexus IS 350 F Sport AWD. The steering feels quicker and the front end feels stiffer and I no longer feel the car nosediving.
