As a result of our extensive race development effort on the Element Tuning Time Attack FR-S, we have developed two rear competition brake kit options for low down force and high downforce cars. For high down force race cars, we offer a caliper option that significantly increases rear brake bias. The Competition rear kit features the awesome Wilwood Forged Superlite 4 piston calipers, with massive 0.8" thick brake pads. Our 13" 2 piece rotors are lightweight and feature directional cooling vanes. Hats feature a thick hard anodized layer and brake rotors are zinc chromate plated to protect against corrosion. Our plating process is much more durable at high temperatures compared to "e-coating" used by other brake manufacturers.

RR-Racing is the only company to offer 2 rear caliper options, born out of our racing experience. For cars with significant rear down force (large rear wings), we have found it necessary to oversize the rear caliper pistons to maintain proper brake bias. If you are unsure which caliper option is right for your application, please give us a call prior to ordering.

All of our brake kits include BP10 pads. We assemble and torque the brackets and calipers (many of our competitors just ship components with no assembly).

It is important to note that our kits are different from other brake kits on the market that use Wilwood calipers -- we use much better calipers, our rotors are larger and thicker made of superior materials, and our kits are much better priced! Why are our kits cost so much less than our competition? We focus on value and quality in our design, and we sell directly to you bypassing several layers of distributors and re-sellers that can more than double the price of a product.

Please note that we now offer caliper color options (please refer to options for this product) using powder coated paints with RR Racing black logo (no Wilwood logo). Please refer to the photograph of the silver caliper for this product. All calipers for this product come with RR Racing logo.

All components in this product kit, with the exception of the brake rotor castings, are proudly engineered and manufactured here in the United States of America.

Note: The rear competition brake kit is recommended for racing purposes only. Due to the aluminum rotor hat, usage of this kit as an "emergency" brake will result in rapid wear and potential ineffectiveness of the rear e-brake. This rear brake kit retains the e-brake function as a parking brake only!
