W4 is designed for track use and occasional street use as well. The W4 will expand the capability of the driver through pedal-to-braking force control that rivals racing pads, yet is tame enough for street use. The W4 is a Semi-Metallic compound with rare-metals and composites blended to give the enthusiast the capability needed for amateur racing.

Due to the nature of all metallic brake pads, the W4 may exhibit some noise and dust compared to non-metallic W1 and W2.
